The Operations Specialist role is different for each individual selected, based on their skills and interests. The role could involve tasks such as managing incoming orders, forecasting product demand, sourcing packaging, maintaining relationships with suppliers, dealing with any customer complaints from online orders, tracking tablet inventory, updating our e-commerce Shopify site, sourcing contract manufacturers, managing overall logistics, and more. As you can tell, there are many tasks, please let us know your interests from that list for the interview. The overall goal of the operations team is to ensure the seamless creation and delivery of products from the production facility to the customer’s hands. The Operations Specialist will be expected to attend 1 full team meeting bi-weekly and 1 operations team meeting weekly to check in on progress.

  • Takes initiative to plan completion of orders
  • Communicates clearly and consistently with other team members
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Works hard goes above and beyond to achieve team goals
  • Able to adapt operational plans quickly to meet order deadlines
  • Experience with Shopify is an asset
